Supporting Elementary School Students

Stamford Teen Outreach Partners (S.T.O.P.) wants your kids to find joy in learning and to have a teen mentor.

S.T.O.P. was created as a means of supporting families during the COVID-19 Pandemic. We realize the need to reinforce the knowledge children gain during school and to help them understand subjects they struggle with. In addition, with the pandemic we want to offer our students a teen buddy to not only help continue to grow their minds but to have virtual fun.

More Information

Our helpers work with your children virtually to provide them with the support you desire. Weekly sessions over Zoom can be academically based or involve fun activities. In other words, our helpers can review subjects students learned throughout the school year and support them in areas they found challenging. In addition, we can engage your child in a range of activities to keep the summer spirit alive.

Stamford Teen Outreach Partners Policy

24 hours in advance cancellation

If you can't make it to a session our student helpers completely understand. Life happens! Though, in the case that cancellation is necessary please cancel 24 hours in advance. If a child fails to show up for 2 meetings without notice, our student helpers have the right to end the weekly sessions with your child. We only have so many student helpers and an abundance of children who have reached out for support. If your status changes and you no longer want our services we completely understand but let us know so we can devote our energy to another family in need. Thank you!
